Playstation 3 Saves

Alright trying to use PARAM Edit v2.0 update. Trying to get a save file from Gamefaq and converting it to be native to my PS3 failed! It keeps giving me a corrupted data file when I try to use it in my system. So doing more research on the app I come up with the conclusion from others that it has a 90% failure rate. Well I guess its back to the drawing board. :-p

PARAM Edit v2.0 is a possible fix for some of your lost save games you should be able to use it to create save games for your Playstation 3. You can find game saves around the internet that can get you close to places that you were in games.

After having my own Playstation 3 die do to YLOD... Losing years of game saves! I have decided to dedicate a blog with the focus of resolving the problem of getting those save games back. So far I know there is lots of info about people trying to decrypt the hard drive to access what we have lost. No one has come up with a solution to the loss though. Its sad that Sony values there DRM so much to fight piracy that they have allowed us to lose so many hours of hard work. It forces us to look into the gray area of the community where the line is blurred between full on piracy and just trying to fix something that shouldn't be broken. I will do my best to keep this updated with all the info I can find to recover lost saves if anyone else out there wants to help out feel free to contact me.
